Returns & Refunds Policy
Mallu Spices Global Ltd is committed to supplying high-quality, authentic Kerala products. Our policy is divided into two parts, respecting both UK consumer law and strict food safety guidelines for grocery items.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
If your order contains goods that are defective, damaged, incorrect, or unfit for consumption upon delivery, we will provide a full refund or replacement.
- Reporting Window (MANDATORY): You must notify us via email within 30 calendar days of receiving your delivery. Claims reported after this window may not be accepted.
- Required Evidence: Your claim must include your order number and clear photographic evidence showing the product fault or damage. We cannot process claims without proof.
- Resolution: Upon verification, we will provide a full refund or a replacement product at our discretion.
- Physical Returns: Due to food safety and hygiene reasons, we do not require physical returns for faulty, damaged, or incorrect food items.
- Return Shipping Cost: Since no physical return is required for faulty food products, there are no return shipping costs incurred by the customer.
Standard Returns (Non-Perishable & Unopened Items)
For items that are non-perishable (e.g., unopened spice packets, kitchenware, or sealed grocery items not classified as fresh) and have been correctly supplied, you may return them for a refund under the following conditions:
- Standard Return Window: We accept returns within 30 calendar days of your delivery date.
- Eligibility: The item must be unused, unopened, sealed (if applicable), and in the same condition that you received it, with the original packaging intact.
- Non-Eligible Items: Any item classified as perishable or which has been opened, consumed, or is past its best-before date is not eligible for a standard return.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment.
- Return Shipping Cost: For standard 30-day returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Refund payments are typically credited back to your account within 7 to 10 working days after approval.
